Anal Douche, Enema Bulbs & Hygiene

Anal douching is the process of rinsing the lower rectum with water before anal play to ensure cleanliness and peace of mind for both partners. It is an optional but widely practiced step in anal hygiene preparation, and having the right equipment makes the process quick, comfortable, and effective.

Bulb douches are the most common option. A soft rubber or silicone bulb fills with warm water, the nozzle inserts a short distance into the rectum, and the bulb is gently squeezed to deliver the rinse. The process is repeated until the water runs clear. Shower attachment douches connect to a standard shower hose and provide a more consistent, adjustable water flow for buyers who prefer that approach.

Use only warm, not hot water. Never use soap, enema solutions, or anything other than plain water. Douche only as needed, not habitually, as over-douching can disrupt the natural bacterial balance of the rectum. Clean the nozzle and bulb thoroughly with a toy cleaner after every use and allow to air dry completely before storage.
